El Paso, Texas - first edit of day 01

Here are a few selects from the first day of shooting with Thomas and Favi in El Paso, TX, 7 days before Thomas's deployment to Iraq. (not sure if I am gonna go b&w or color on this yet, so you get both)

George Okudi - Hyattsville, MD

Today, yes today (this is two same day posts in a row!), I hung out with Pastor George Okudi from Northern Uganda. We talked at length about my upcoming trip to Uganda and current issues within his home country. I hope I get to hang out and make more images of him before I leave. You should google his name and check out his music, it's great!

Ride On bus - Bethesda, MD

I shot this on assignment today, yes today! I can't remember the last time I turned a picture for the blog on the same day as it was shot! Story is about a Ride On bus line being cut in Bethesda and students not being able to ride the bus anymore.
