1968 Olympian
David Patrick placed first in track and field trials for the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City, but was cheated out of his spot on the team by an assistant coach. Forty years later the Olympic Committee has recognized the mistake and made him officially an Olympian, the first time in history that this has happened.
